Cervical
Traction

Cervical traction is used to gently decompress the neck and reduce pressure on irritated structures. Each session is adjusted to your comfort and clinical response.

Cervical Traction Overview

Cervical traction is a therapy that applies a controlled, gentle pulling force to the neck to create a slight separation between cervical vertebrae. This can temporarily reduce pressure on discs, joints, and nerve roots, while also decreasing muscle guarding and improving local mobility. To do this, we use a traction table.

At our clinic, traction is never one-size-fits-all. We personalize each session to your comfort level, your goals, and how your body responds in real time. The force, angle, and duration of cervical traction are individualized based on symptoms and exam findings.
